February 14, 2006 РAndr̩ Cycle & Sport, Kuota Bikes, and the Soci̩t̩ idCAD have recently announced the arrival of a new Quebecois Junior Team for the 2006 season.

The new team will be called André Cycle-idCAD and will be made up of ten of Quebec’s most talented junior male racers. Riders will be representing Montreal, Quebec, Saguenay, and Abitibi and have been chosen for their athletic abilities as well as for their outstanding personalities.

In alphabetical order the team members are:

– Christian Deshaies, Val-d’Or
– William Goodfellow, Dorval

– Olivier Savaria, Longueuil
– André Tremblay, Val d’Or

Taking the position of Director Sportif will be Mr. Jacques Bariault; acting as Director General will be Mr. Marc Lemay. Team André Cycle-idCAD will take part at races in Quebec, Ontario and in North-Eastern USA. The team will also participate in all ten of the Mardis a Lachine races. The highlight of the season will surely be the Tour de l’Abitibi – a key race in the world of junior cycling.

Team members are currently preparing for the upcoming season. The team will be officially launched within the next few weeks at an evening press conference where the team website will also be launched.
