February 04, 2015 (Winnipeg,MB) – The 2014 Manitoba cyclocross season was one to remember. Along with a fantastic eight-race provincial season, Winnipeg also hosted the 2014 Shimano Canadian Cyclocross Championships. Zach Peters was there to film it all, and he’s now releasing a short documentary on the culture and sport of cyclocross called Sprocket and Chain.

“In the span of just 11 minutes, Peters manages to capture what makes cyclocross so fun, so positive and so addictive,” says Ian Hall, a co-race director with the 2014 Canadian Cyclocross Championships and a key member of the cyclocross community in Manitoba.

The video is narrated by four members of the cyclocross community, and shows off unique features of the Manitoba cyclocross scene.

“With racing action and thoughtful comments from novice and experienced riders, Sprocket and Chain will be of interest to those checking out the sport for the first time and will also speak to those who have had cross running in their veins for years,” says Hall.
