A summer camp with a twist is being offered in B.C. this season. The
inaugural Shore Group Whistler High School Race Camp will be held July 8 to
10. The camp is modeled after an invitational mountain-bike camp that had
been staged in the province in the previous five years.

This new camp, however, is open to any interested high school mountain
biker, though organizers will limit the number of camp participants this
year to between 100 and 120 racers.

Among those expected to serve as guest coaches at the camp will be
participants from the Grouse Mt. World Cup scheduled for July 4 to 7 just
outside Vancouver.

Besides daily rides, the camp will include clinics, seminars, and athlete
forums. The registration fee, which includes meals, is $255 plus taxes for
those staying off-site, or $299 plus taxes for camp participants who
