Most Popular MTB O-Cup on May 9 in Albion Hills

release by Chico Racing

May 3, 2010 (Uxbridge, ON) – The Plastiglas Ontario Cup Series will travel to Albion Hills Conservation Area just north of Bolton on Sunday, May 9th, for the second installment of the province wide series. With almost 750 competitors at Albion Hills last year, this weekend’s race is expected to once again be the largest stop of the Ontario Cup XC MTB Series.

With the trail improvement initiative, riders can expect to be the first to race on the improved flowing singletracks – Gnarly Berms, and Goat Path (formly S2, and S3). In addition to a fabulous network of open trails and climbs, 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM riders will face off on the Green Monster, a punishing granny-gear slog with no pitch changes for over a minute!

The Plastiglas Ontario Cup Series consists of 7 events taking place at premier mountain bike venues all across Ontario. These events have categories and courses catered to mountain bikers of all ability levels.
