“The Montreal Bicycle Show is the largest consumer Show in Canada that is dedicated exclusively to the wonderful world of bicycles and cycling tourism,” notes Jan Dubé, president of the Montreal Bike Show.

“Whether you are searching for a bicycle, equipment, accessories, clothing or advice, this is the best place to discover everything there is to know about the cycling world. I’m sold out (for exhibitors),” added Dubé. “There’s no more floor space. But there is still room for visitors.”

Previous annual editions of the show have been used for product launches and team presentations. Typically, there are also product demonstrations, presentations (in French), shows and raffles at the Montreal Bike Show. According to Dube a new Quebec bike manufacturer, Rythm Bikes (www.rythmbikes.com) will be launching at the 2017 show.

One novelty at the 2017 edition includes a 3D Printer Bicycle lights by Créations AB3D which do not need batteries. Another is that tickets can now be bought online, allowing visitors to avoid lineups at the gate.

Ottawa cycling aficionados often attend the Montreal show in great numbers because it is closer for them to get to than the Toronto Bike Show from March 3-5.
