June 20, 2013 (Nanaimo, BC) – This week’s MIVA Tuesday Criterium took place in Arbutus Meadows. As the  regular organiser was incapacitated, having been bested by a semi-buried cable in a junkyard, the event was ably set up by Ian Smith and Iain Hay, with Steve Grant doing the commissairing. There were sixteen starters, including three youth riders and lone woman Laurie Ritchie. The first prime, on lap nine, was won by fast man Ian Smith with Nick Kupiak second. Second prime was also predictable, with Ian winning again from Nick and Ray Wagner, CVCC, in third. At the finish, it was Ian yet again ut junior James Grant, Vipyres managed to beat both Ray and Nick for second place.Aaron Millar, CVCC, and Scott Doran rounded out the top six places.
