June 26, 2012 (Hamilton, ON) – We just got word that Julian is fine and is now at home – see below. Concerned family members have contacted Pedal to help them locate cyclist, Julian Holland, last seen by at 4 pm yesterday (June 25) at Bayfront in Hamilton. Holland is 36, white, approx. 5 ft. 7 inches, blonde hair, green eyes and rides a  red, white and black Jamis racing bike with pink tape on one handle bar, yellow tape on the other. The police have been notified.

According to his sister-in-law on the previous day, he had biked from Bayfront looping around Coots Paradise and headed to Burlington along the trail parallel to Lakeshore which took him about 2 hours. His wife thinks he tried to do that yesterday to better his time. He only took a bottle of water and had no wallet, so it was unlikely he was planning a longer trip as he only started up biking again a month ago.

Julian is totally fine. He just showed up at my sister’s. Turns out it was a long ride out, a flat tire, and an even longer walk home not realizing anyone was worried. Thank you so much for all your help.
