June 08, 2016 (Oro-Medonte, ON) – Hardwood Ski and Bike is pleased to announce a week of world class racing, fun and so much more. Things kick off on Wednesday, June 8th where the public can come and meet Pam Am Champion and Olympian Emily Batty from 5:15pm – 6pm she will be signing autographs at the Trek Wednesday Night Series at Hardwood Ski and Bike.

Saturday June, 11th – Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day – Kids 12 and under Ride Free, Prizes, Free Clinics and more. Simcoe County Health Unit will be on-site with and interactive booth. Trillium Trail Blazers – Give Mountain Biking a try! This is a FREE youth Race, Pro Riders will be here to help. Just bring your bike and helmet, everyone gets a medal. Registration 9:00am-11:00am Mini Clinic 11:00am, Youth Race 12:00pm

Sunday June 12, 2016Trek Store Canada Cup – Youth, Sport, expert races, there is something for everyone. Canada Best, Elite and Junior race starts at 1:45pm. Come out and see riders from all over Canada compete in this event. For more information on the Trek Store Canada Cup please click here Spectators are welcome to come out and cheer on these athletes we are just asking for donations to support our Development Team.

Hardwood will be closed for Public Riding on Sunday June 12th. This is a week that will be fun for the entire family. Treat the family to lunch from the BBQ at Hardwood, kids ride free, meet Olympians and cheer these amazing athletes.
