April 29, 2009 (Burnaby, BC) – This coming weekend, the Campione Cycles MayDays Memorial race just got a little richer. Last week Campione Cycles signed on as the major sponsor with $1,200 being split equally between the Open Sprint, Elite A, and Women’s Omniums. This week about a dozen other sponsors have come on board to help out with prizes, many local bike shops have donated gift certificates to be handed out to the winners of individual races.  Popeye’s Supplements has also signed on to give the winners of the Open Sprint, Elite A and Women’s Omniums a gift basket full of product.

On top of all that, Mighty Riders signed on today to become the Sunday sponsor for the 5 event Mighty Riders Omnium. The top riders from each of the Sunday Omniums will share in a minimum of $300 in cash.

The registration deadline has come and gone but because of the mix up with Karelo, any riders still interested in racing please send off an email to scottlala@shaw.ca.
