December 21, 2011 (Lachine, QC) – The Mardis Cyclistes criterium series has signed on a new title sponsor for its 36th season next year. The new sponsor is The Jean Coutu Group (PJC) Inc according to Mardis founder, Tino Rossi. PJC is a drugstore chain headquartered in Longueuil, QC and has more than 360 franchised locations in New Brunswick, Ontario, and Quebec. As announced previously, dairy giant Saputo Inc. pulled out of its sponsorship deal with the Mardis Cyclistes at the end of the 2011 cycling season.

The Mardis Cyclistes are a highly popular series of 10 crit races held on Tuesday evenings each summer in the Montreal suburb of Lachine. More details are about the PJC deal are to be revealed in early January Rossi promised Pedal.
