January 22, 2005 — Unofficial results from the final round of the UCI World Cup Cyclocross in Hoogerheide, Netherlands, indicate that Canada’s Lyne Bessette has finished in 6th place. The podium featured a Dutch “double-shot” with first place snapped up by Daphny VanDenBrand and third place won by Mirjiam Melchers. Second place went to Germany’s Hanka Kupfernagel.

Results for the women’s race have yet to be confirmed, as well as the results from the Junior and Under 23 race, all three of which took place this morning in Hoogerheide, Holland.
