April 15, 2010 (Toronto, ON) – The Luigia Zilli Bicycle Art Exhibition will take place during Toronto Bike Month in one of the three largest public galleries of Toronto, the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery. The event is for art lovers, collectors, and cyclists and admission is free. The gallery is open Monday to Friday 10 am – 5 pm.

Why: An art exhibition of cycling and bicycle paintings to celebrate Toronto bicycle month. The exhibition is one of the numerous and diverse festivals and events that the City of Toronto will host to entertain bicycle fans and cyclists from all over Ontario.

This exhibition will take place in one of the three largest public galleries of Toronto, the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery and will attract the interest not only of art lovers and collectors but also the numerous cycling clubs members and bicycle commuters that could see how their passion is also a great inspiration for this international visual artist, Luigia Zilli, who’s a cyclist herself and also showed her bicycle art last year during Giro d’Italia in Italy. The bicycle is one of her favourite subject matters, very present in many of her paintings.

The event is admission free, the gallery is open Monday to Friday 10 am – 5 pm.
