London 2012 Olympic Games Women’s TT Full Results – Armstrong Wins Gold

August 01, 2012 (London, UK) – Kristin Armstrong (United States of America) captured Olympic gold this morning at Hampton Court Palace in the Women’s 29km TT, defending her title under cloudy skies, with periodic rain showers and breezy conditions, scoring a decisive victory over all rivals as reigning TT world champ Judith Arndt (Germany) settled for second with Olga Zabelisnkaya taking home her second bronze for Russia. Canadian legend, Clara Hughes, finished 5th almost a minute behind the winner with New Zealand’s Linda Villumsen in 4th.
