Le Tour de Bretagne Cycliste Stages 5, 6, 7 Results, Wrap Up and Final GC

May 01, 2017 (France) – Canada’s Sean Mackinnon (An Post Chain Reaction) ended up 45th overall as Le Tour de Bretagne Cycliste finished today with the final 145.4km Stage 7 from Saint-Brice-en-Coglès to Fougères won by Andrea Vendrame (Ita) Androni Giocattoli as Flavien Dassonville (Fra) HP BTP – Auber93 took the overall victory. Here’s a look at the final three stages.

Stage 6
The 160km Stage 6 was won by French rider Elie Gesbert (Fortuneo-Vital Concept) ahead of Albainian Eugert Zhupa (Wilier Triestina-Sella Italia and American Logan Owen (Axeon Hagens Berman). Mackinnon finished 76th, 14:20 behind Gesbert, slipping from 9th on GC to 51st.

Stage 5
Stage 5 saw riders race a 152km route from Saint-Glidas-desBois to Saint Pern, France. The stage was won by An Post Chain Reaction rider Przemyslaw Kasperkiewicz of Poland. Norweigan Anders Skaarseth (Team Joker Icopal) was second and French rider Maxime Cam was third. Machinnon started the day in 5th overall, slipping back a few places to 9th following the stage after finishing 60th at 1:44 behind his teammate Kasperkiewicz.
