September 3, 2007 (Sainte Agathe, QC) — Yesterday saw the first running of the Laval le Petit Bonheur Classic where 90 cyclists rode along Quebec Highway 117 from Laval to Ste-Agathe.
The best time of 2:14:43 was recorded by Jose Jorge (Calyon/Marin Swiss club) in the Masters B category with Eric Provost (Opus OGC) one second back in the same category.
Francois Doyon (Cinelume Cycles Performance) recorded a time of 2:14:44 in the Masters A category while Domenic Rossi (Independent) finished with the same time. Rossi is the son of “Tino” Rossi, the organizer of the Mardis Cyclistes series.
In Seniors 3, Philippe Leduc (CIBC Wood Gundy) finished with a time of 2:14:45 while Torry Pass (le Yeti) finished with the same time.
