June 19, 2013 (Banff, AB) – Check out this great photo of Kris Dahl (H&R Block) from Calgary, the top U23 rider at this year’s Banff BikeFest, who earned a spot on the U.S. Continental team, SmartStop presented by Mountain Khakis racing at the inaugural Tour of Alberta this September. Banff Lake Louise Tourism teamed up with ToA organizer, the Alberta Peloton Association, to present this innovative opportunity for up-and-coming riders. SmartStop-Mountain Khakis Team is based in North Carolina but the team owner, Jamie Bennett is Canadian, originally from Red Deer, and was on hand for the presentation –  read more here and here.
