July 20, 2011 (Whistler, BC) – Canada’s Sarah Leishman who lives in Whistler and recently joined the Canadian DH Girls placed 3rd on the podium at the Jeep Air Downhill this afternoon at Kokanee Crankworx as France’s Anne Caroline Chausson took the win with the USA’s Jill Kintner (Transition Racing) in second. In the men’s race Andrew Neethling (RSA) Giant Factory unseated 5x defending Air Downhill champ, Brian Lopes (USA) Ibis, with Mick Hannah (USA) GT Bicycles in 3rd. Canada’s Steve Smith (Devinci Global Factory Team) was 5th.
