Kirk O\’Bee Looks For New Team

October 6, 2005 – After six years as a professional Kirk O’Bee is without a contract and looking for a new team in 2006. Kirk turned professional with the US Postal Service Pro Cycling Team in 2000 and since then has been racing with the Navigators Insurance Cycling Team. Over the last six years Kirk has had 11 wins in Europe and North America.

Kirk is a seasoned professional and has been with the Navigators team since 2001. A former USPRO Criterium National Champion, Kirk is a fast, strong, and versatile rider that can win in almost any racing situation. His valuable mix of endurance and speed has helped him earn many victories and Sprint Competitions since turning professional in 2000. Kirk has demonstrated his ability to be a valuable team player and an important component of the team’s finishing strategy. His versatility is demonstrated by his victory on the track in the 1997 Team Pursuit U.S. National Championships. Kirk is always a dangerous breakaway threat, and a key player in the closing stages of the fastest races. While not racing, Kirk enjoys hiking, golf and spending time with his family. Kirk, Suzanne, and their son Samuel currently reside in Vancouver.
