June 29, 2014  (Lac Megantic, QC) – Leah Kirchmann (MB) Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies defended her Elite Women’s Criterium title winning the 28-lap race on Sunday and in doing so claimed the triple crown at the 2014 Global Relay Cycling Canada Road Championships. Kirchmann, from Winnipeg, may be the first rider to win all three national titles at one championships taking home the Time Trial, Road Race and Criterium jerseys.
