November 11, 2015 – The Kallisto-FCV p/b Toyo Tires Cycling Team is entering our 5th year of operation. The team is a youth based organization with 2 training centres, the Forest City Velodrome in London and the KW Youth Cycling Academy in Waterloo. We also provide opportunities for U23 and Elite development athletes.

The 2016 cycling season will start with training events at the Forest City Velodrome. This preparation will lead into the O-Cup Track series and the Provincial Track Championships in March. Our U17 & U19 athletes will also compete in early April for the National Track Championships before heading into the road season.

Forest City Velodrome:
The FCV is the foundation for the team. The team developed many years ago as a way to support the youth racers develop their professionalism, fitness and skills. Peloton Contracting:
Peloton started their sponsorship of the team leading into the Tour of Rimouski in 2015 (an International stage race for U17 Men/Women & U19 Women). Leading into the event in Rimouski the directors of the team put together the most formable squad of U19 Women. After that great experience, the Peloton Contracting organization was approached to become a Primary sponsor of the team, arrangements were made to feature the firm on the front and back of our 2016 Jersey. New for 2016, The Trek Bicycle Store London has entered into a 2 year arrangement for the 2016 & 2017 season to supply Trek Bicycles to team members. This arrangement will include bike fit, a supply of tools, mechanic stands, and portable bike hangers. Welcome Trek Bicycle Store London as a Primary sponsor of the Kallisto-FCV Cycling Team. Ryan Aitcheson, of the Astellas Pro Cycling team who started riding and racing at the Forest City Velodrome, operates a small and growing company that provides cyclists with travel cases for your winter and summer flights to vacations and training camps.
