October 1, 2005 (Whistler, B.C.) – The countdown is on for an end of season celebration at Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Bike Park. Joyride Huckfest, taking place in Whistler October 8 – 10, is the culmination of an incredible, record-breaking season.
Originally produced by Joyride back in 2001, Huckfest has always been the wrap-up celebration of a successful mountain biking season in the Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Bike Park. “Traditionally, the closing weekend is full of good times in the park, as it’s the last chance to rip it up for the season”, says Paddy Kaye, of Joyride.
This year’s Joyride Huckfest includes some super fresh formats with a Super D, the Joyride DH, Amateur Slopestyle, and a showing of Freeride Entertainment’s latest movie premier NWD6 Unchained.
Special Lift Tickets are available with registration for $5 per day. Event registration is $10 per participant plus insurance. NWD6 movie premiere tickets available for $10 at Millennium Place. For more information call 604-935-8410.
