Joe Martin Stage Race Stage 2 Women/Men’s Results – Perry 7th, Gilgen 18th

April 22, 2016 (Fayetteville, Arkansas) – Canada’s Benjamin Perry (Silber Pro Cycling) claimed 7th with teammate Nigel Ellsay 8th in the men’s 173.5km Stage 2 road race won by Sebastian Haedo (Arg) Team Jamis. Ellsay remains second overall behind Janier Acevedo (Col) Team Jamis and is wearing the white jersey as the Best Young Rider. In the women’s 94km Stage 2 road race Canada’s Jamie Gilgen (Visit Dallas Dna Pro) finished 18th behind winner Coryn Rivera (USA) Unitedhealtcare Professional Women. Linda Villumsen (Nzl) Unitedhealtcare Professional Women continues to lead overall with Alizee Brien (Can) Team Tibco-Silicon Valley Bank the top Canuck in 13th.
