Commonwealth Games Canada is currently inviting applications for Program Manager, SportWORKS. This position is responsible and accountable for the planning and execution of CGC’s successful and award winning International sport development and sport-for-development program, SportWORKS . The ideal candidate holds a degree in Sport Management, International Development, or equivalent, and at least four (4) years’ experience working in related fields. This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. Also required is experience in planning and executing programs and events, including related promotion and funds development. Technology skills (Windows OS, MS Office & Outlook, presentation and database management software) and the ability to communicate in both Official Languages are considered assets.

This is a part-time, employee position (3 days / week with the possibility of full-time pending available funds) and starts as soon as possible. Location is Ottawa and may require occasional out-of-country travel and irregular working hours. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Salary Range: Starting remuneration range is $31,800 – $34,200 per annum, plus benefits.
