Office Administrator The Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) is an organization comprised of high school student-athletes, teacher-coaches, teachers, principals, and sport administrators all committed to the philosophy of “Education Through School Sport”. Our primary responsibility is to work with volunteer teacher-coaches to provide top-quality Provincial Championships for Ontario’s student-athletes, but we also play an important role in dealing with issues that affect students, coaches, schools and communities.

Job Summary The Office Administrator plays an integral role in the operational efficiency of the Federation through the coordination and management of various administrative functions. This position manages a variety of areas and is an important part of the Federation’s office team. Principal Duties Reporting to the Executive Director, the Office Administrator will: “¢Maintain the constitution, by-laws, policies and procedures manual, forms, reports, and minutes. “¢Coordinate the purchasing of awards, supplies, and office equipment. “¢Allocate travel grant requests based on funds available. “¢Coordinate the logistics of the Annual General Meeting and Representatives’ Council meetings. “¢Act as recording secretary for all council meetings, staff meetings, and committee meetings as required. “¢Post information to the Federation’s website. “¢Manage the distribution of all orders for rule books, score sheets, and resource material. “¢Respond to written and verbal inquiries from various stakeholders and the public. Qualifications “¢Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work within stringent timelines. “¢Excellent written and verbal communication skills. “¢Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Simply Accounting is an asset. “¢Experience with non-profit, volunteer organizations is helpful. “¢Knowledge of sports and the education system are assets. “¢Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service approach. “¢Education in business administration or sports management is an asset.
