Jet Fuel’s Randell 17th at Lincoln GP

May 8, 2005 — Jet Fuel Sympatico MSN’s Andrew Randell finished a credible 17th in the 50th running of the Lincoln GP in England today. The 164km race is one of the longest running and most prestigious races on the UK calendar. This year the race was classified UCI 1.2 as part of the European continental tour.

Randell narrowly missed the joining the 16-man early break that went on to be the winning move of the day. This year’s event was won by an on form Russell Downing (GBr) Recycling.co.uk, followed by his team mate and brother Dean Downing in 2nd. Veteran Malcolm Elliott (GBr) Pinarello RT rounded out the podium.
