July 18, 2017 (Gotha, GER) – Canadian Alison Jackson (Bepink Cogeas) finished a stellar second on the final Stage 6 in Gotha, 75.8km, won by American Skylar Schneider (USA) as the Lotto Thuringen Ladies Tour wrapped up today. Austrialian Rushlee Buchanan (UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling) was third.

Fellow Canuck Lex Albrecht (Team TIBCO – SVB) finished 13th with Jackson 15th on the General Classification as Germany’s Lisa Brennauer (Canyon SRAM Racing) won the overall at the end of the seven days of racing.

It was a successful tour for the two Canadians, with Albrecht taking her first European victory on Stage 2 while Jackson finished 10th yesterday on Stage 5 and earlier in the week she placed 6th on Stage 3 for three top-10 results.
