Island Cup Series Kicks Off XC Season in BC on March 15

March 13, 2015 (Victoria,BC) – The 2015 race season gets going this Sunday, March 15th in Victoria with Pro City’s Hartland XC. Events this year will include all four disciplines starting with the spring XC races this weekend.

The Cumberland DH race returns for a classic technical downhill course, shortly the enduro events begin with a new SportIDent timing system, and for the diesel engines, a series of XC marathon and 12 hour events to warm up for the big stage mountain bike events that happen in this province.

Grassroots events provide riders of all ages the opportunity to develop their skills

The grassroots events provide all ages of riders opportunities to develop their skills, rub shoulders with pros and continue the history of mountain bike racing on Vancouver Island

Cycling BC sanctioned, each event will require that riders have a race license. One day event licenses are available for unlicensed riders.
