March 04, 2015 (The Blue Mountains, ON) – We are pleased to announce that Sportsnet has signed on to be the title sponsor for the 2015 Grey County Road Race and Time Trial, being held May 22 to 24th 2015 in beautiful Blue Mountains, Ontario, Canada.

This exciting and unprecedented event – The Grey County Road Race presented by Sportsnet – is the only North American qualifying event for the Amateur Road World Championships, being heldSeptember 3rd through 6th, 2015 in Aalborg, Denmark.

The Grey County Road Race presented by Sportsnet is part of the UCI World Cycling Tour (UWCT), which consists of 13 qualifier events being held at various locations throughout the world – all leading up to the chance for qualifying amateur riders to compete for the coveted World Championship Rainbow Jersey.

For the first time in North America participants will be able to qualify with both a Road and Time Trial event. The Time Trial – also known as the Race of Truth – will test cyclists in a race against the clock on an “out and back” course in picturesque Blue Mountains, starting and ending in Ravenna on Friday May 22nd.
