January 7, 2005 – The New London Velodrome is proud to announce an agreement with Gita North to support the Velodrome project in London Ontario.

Gita North is the Canadian Distributor for Giordana Cycling Apparel, Pinarello & Eddy Merckx Bicycles ( both of whom manufacture Track Cycling Bicycles & Frames), Diadora shoes , and Gatorade.

The owners of Gita North are very excited about the potential to be a strong partner in this new project. The future looks bright for the cycling community of London & Southern Ontario.

In particular, the Diadora line of shoes will be a great compliment the rental needs of the Velodrome. The Youth programs at the facility will certainly be enhanced with the availability of shoes for our young riders in the Novice Group & Future Champions Series.

Additionally, Gita North is excited to help foster future successful fundraising events with their well established line of Gatorade Products.

Gatorade will be available along with Tim Horton’s Coffee at the Velodrome Kickoff this Saturday in London.
