June 30, 2013 (Margherita di Savoia, Italy) – Kirsten Wild (Ned) Dutch National Team took the win over Marianne Vos (Ned) Rabo-LivGiant on Stage 1 fronm Giovinazzo to Margherita di Savoia, 117.8 km, at the Giro Rosa, formerly the Giro d’Italia Internazionale Femminile.

The new moniker is an attempt by the Italian Cycling Federation to attempt to make the event more appealing to fans and sponsors. The lone Canucks racing are Veronique Fortin (Can) Pasta Zara Cogeas who finished 115th while Jasmin Glaesser (Can) Team TIBCO to the Top was 133rd.
