May 18, 2016 (Asolo, ITA) – Diego Ulissi (Ita) Lampre – Merida grabbed another win taking Stage 11 from Modena to Asolo, 227km, as Ryder Hesjedal (Can) Trek-Segafredo finished 22nd in the lead group of chasers and moved up a spot to 13th overall. Andrey Amador (Crc) Movistar Team was second and race leader Bob Jungels (Lux) Etixx – Quick-Step was third on the stage.
