June 6, 2005 (Victoria, BC) — Specifically designed for high school-aged cyclists new to the sport, the Giant SpeedSeries Clinics offer novice cyclists the knowledge and skill-base to comfortably, safely and successfully ride in a pack environment, and take part in an entry-level road race.

Hosted by certified coaches and successful racers, the one-day Clinics are split into two sessions; in-class, kids will have an opportunity to review important sporting regulations, look at specialized equipment, discuss various training principles and examine proper bike fit. While ‘on-bike, future racers will be versed in the fine art of pack riding, and undergo in-depth hill climbing, sprinting and cornering analysis.

Participants must bring a road bike or a cross-country bike, and a helmet. Please bring appropriate clothing as we will be riding rain or shine!!!

Cost for clinics only $15!!! All clinics run from 10am to 4pm. Upon registration, receive a free GIANT SpeedSeries t-shirt! You are also automatically entered to win a GIANT OCR 3 road bike!
