April 16, 2015 (North Vancouver, BC) – Giant Canada is pleased to announce that as of March 1, 2015, Hugo Lanthier has taken on a new position of Event Coordinator / Public Relations / ASQA Supervisor.

Previously Hugo has worked on many different facets of our large scale events and has assisted in the successful executions of these projects. His new position will consist of taking care of major events such as Crankworx and our Summit convention as well as managing demo events nationwide.

He will remain at the head of ASQA by supervising the department.

“Hugo has done an amazing job of taking care of our dealers over the past 5 years which is why he will continue to oversee the ASQA division, but we are thrilled that his new focus is the execution of these critical events and we are confident that his enthusiasm and dedication will continue their success,” said Giant Canada Deputy General Manager Paul Nash.

We are also pleased to announce a new addition to our team, Dorothy Luebke. As of March 30, 2015, Dorothy has taken over the position of After Service and Quality Assurance (ASQA). Dorothy has been working at Cycle Lambert for the past 7 years and has plenty of experience in customer relations as well as warranty. She is an avid mountain biker that spends many of her weekends improving or fixing our local trails and can’t wait to try one of our new Reign 27.5.

“Dorothy has some big shoes to fill but we are confident that her experience and personality will help deliver the same excellent standard of service our dealers are used to. She is a welcome addition to our great team,” said Nash.

Formerly the Event Coordinator/Public Relations/Liv Representative, Nica is now solely focused on the success and growth of Liv, the only cycling brand building women’s bikes, apparel, and gear from the ground up.

Nica’s new role as Giant Canada’s Liv Brand Specialist will include the continued support for retailers in developing their female consumer base, development of the Liv product line in Canada, overseeing Liv brand marketing opportunities, social media engagement, development of women’s instructional programs, involve- ment in local and national women’s events, and management of Liv Ambassadors. Nica has worked with Giant Canada for 7 years in various roles which has enabled her to have extensive experience with the Giant brand and Liv brand direction. Her various media relations, numerous successful event executions, and in-depth clinic instruction to support the growing trend of DIY female cyclists across Canada will ensure her continued success in her new position.

“As the Liv brand continues to establish itself as the only full provider of women’s product, culture and retail experience Giant Canada is committed to supporting our dealers with an extensive Liv program. Nica is the perfect person to take Liv to the next level in the Canadian market and we are thrilled to have her focus all her attention on this very important segment.” Paul Nash
