Gestev has been known for many years worldwide for their fine quality mountain bike events. Their record in Canada includes the organization of two world championships (Bromont 1992, Mont-Sainte-Anne 1998), many World cups (Mont-sainte-Anne, Grouse Mountain, Bromont, Silverstar), national championships, Canada cups and numerous provincial events for the last 15 years.
The UCI also retains the company 23 Degrees management in the process. This company is owned by Martin Whiteley, ex-Technical Delegate of the UCI. This combination of two great institutions will definitely raise the level of this cycling discipline.
