October 25, 2011 (Vancouver, BC) – We have just learned that top Canadian MTB rider, Geoff Kabush, is a free agent as his sponsorship with Rocky Mountain Bicycles fell through. Apparently Maxxis is no longer supporting the team and Kabush has been trying to make something work with Rocky but is now a free agent and as he recently tweeted he is… “Looking for a job for next year…”

“I still have the support of Maxxis behind me and plan on continuing that successful relationship,” said Kabush when we contacted him. “After a couple great years working with Rocky Mountain they have decided not to continue as a sponsor. I am now looking at all my options for putting together a new program for 2012. I am working hard and regardless of what happens I am obviously very motivated going into what is a huge Olympic year.”
