Kids will even have their own event in the heart of Percé with the Défi des Moussaillons, specially created for children aged 10 and under!

Athletes to watch

Gaspesia 100 will be counting on the presence of its defending champions for its 100 mile race as André Landry (Cap-Pelé) and Olympian Lyne Bessette (Knowlton) have both confirmed their participation. Gaspesians Jano Poirier (G50 2015 and G75 2016 champion) and Vincent Audet (3rd place in the 40-49 category at the 2017 Canadian XCM Championships), as well as Longueuil’s Jean-Pascal Cloutier (2nd place at Gaspesia 100 2015 and 2nd in the 19-29 category at the 2017 Canadian XCM Championships) will be worth watching!

The G15, a new initiation race for beginners

Événements Gaspesia is proud to announce the addition of a brand new 15 km race, the G15 presented by Intersport! Created for beginner mountain bikers aged 11 and older, the G15 will enable participants to have their first contact with the world of mountain bike marathons. Long climbs, epic descents and a varied landscape is on the agenda for this overview set to be launched on the morning of September 3!

As it was the case last year, the event will offer the best of its courses that have become known for their natural beauty and their high level of difficulty. Once again, the regulars will get to discover new sections which will add to the mythical experience they have grown used to at Gaspesia 100.
