January 14, 2003 – Fox Factory, Inc. is proud to announce sponsorship of the Scott Mountain Bike equipped SwissPower Mountain Bike Team. Fox Racing Shox and Scott, have agreed to equip the world class Cross Country SwissPower Mountain Bike Team with Fox Forx and Fox Racing Shox
suspension components. Fox Racing Shox will co-operate with Scott on technical developments as well on promotional venues. The team is led by former World Champion and multiple World Cup winner Thomas Frischknecht and will participate at all UCI World Cup races as well as the national series, marathons and other bike events. The SwissPower Mountain Bike Team is the entrance
of Fox Racing Shox into the European Cross-Country World Cup. The Fox Forx models used will be the new 2003 F80RLT which features many light weight chassis and internal parts, and Scott Strike full suspension bikes will feature the Float RL rear shock with remote lock-out options for both front and rear shocks.
