September 19, 2007 (London, ON) – The weather is changing; you can feel it in the air. Those long muggy days seem to be over. The Forest City Velodrome is gearing up for another season of Race Events and a new Fall Riding Schedule.
Our booth at the Western Fair was a great success. Special thanks to Craig Lave for organizing the booth and volunteers. FVCA says thank you to those volunteers that shared their spare time. They manned the booth and handed out Forest City Velodrome Brochures & Free Race Night Coupons. The display looked great! They got the word out. We are looking forward to gaining some new Velo-kids and members from this event. Way to go!!

Rollers — If any one of you have rollers that you are not planning to use for the next few weeks, could you please bring them to the track and leave them on the infield? They would be on loan to help participants in our planned, new “Skills & Drills” session improve their riding skills.

There will be increased time to ride & train during the fall & winter.
We will be reintroducing the out of town membership for riders who live more than 100 km from the Velodrome and only come to recreation rides. All racers who participate in Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday night training and racing will be required to purchase a full membership.
