First Annual Music and Mountain Bike 2006 IndieFest

January 14, 2006 – My name is Sue Bugow. I am one of the owners of Music & Mountain Indiefest. I thought it might be a great way to maintain interest and excitement during the summer months so I am calling on all Independent Musicians and Independent Mountain Bikers.

We have decided to put together an annual summer event, the First Annual Music and Mountain Bike 2006 IndieFest on Labor Day Weekend in Muskoka, ON, and introduce more entertainment to the area that includes camping for all ages.

No more, “Mom, I’m bored!” Take them where they can camp, listen to live music and ride their mountain bikes in competition. This is a completely fun event along with many prizes that may be won at the end of the summer on the Labour Day Weekend, including the finals of the Independent Battle of the Bands!

We hope to line up a celebrity to award prizes on the Labor Day Weekend and we’re also hoping to attract music loving, adventurous campers, and die-hard extreme Mountain Bikers.

Here are the prices for this fabulous event, which we want to run all summer long. Prices do not include food, we will have a vendor on the premises.

– Full Summer/Full Pass – 15 weeks – $995
– Full Weekend Pass – Fri/Sat/Sun – $95
– Camping Site – Per Weekend – $40
– Camping Site – Per Week – $100
– Music Site – Per Day – $25
– Mountain Bike Trails – Per Day – $25

We’re trying to obtain as much sponsorship as possible for this First Annual Music and Mountain Bike Indiefest as well so please contact us for more details.

We are only 10 minutes off of the 400 north bound highway on 81 acres, surrounded by more than 1,000 acres of crown land. The beautiful landscape includes a Beaver Pond, a variety of wildlife, and lots of rocky landscape.
