February 1, 2011 (London, ON) – Saturday night Feb 5th will be the largest payout for a bicycle track race in Ontario ever. The Thor Espresso Bar (Toronto) is the main sponsor of the marathon event. The racers will complete 1380 laps or 190.350kms to determine the strongest and fittest track racer in the country. 

$5,000.00 plus bonuses is on offer, as 24 of best track racers in Canada take to the Forest City Velodrome at the Old Ice House in London. The 190km affair will feature a top prize of $2,500.00 to win. The racing promises to be fast and furious as the highly bank 138m velodrome will be rumbling with speeds reaching 60+ kph.

The field will be the deepest ever seen at the 6 year old facility. Riders from Canada’s national team will be in attendance for top honours. The racing starts at 6pm. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for Seniors, Kids are always FREE.
