December 07, 2013 (London, ON) – Track racing continues this Saturday night at the Forest City Velodrome in London Ontario. One of the largest supporters of the FCV is the Aylmer Express and they are the main sponsor the evening of racing. Madison racing takes centre stage with six teams doing battle in the 6-day formatted event.

The evening will feature two Madison’s, Sprints, Scratch Race and Miss & Out for the Madison teams. “The racing will be intense and exciting from the first whistle.” You have to be at the track.

Madison racing at the FCV is what we do best….. The 2-1/2 hour program is tight and moves along very quickly. The 6-day program is fast and exciting, we have used this format before and it brings out the best in all the racers.

Madison racing started at Madison Square Gardens in the late 1800’s…. the premise of the race is 2 riders per team and they make exchanges to place each other into the race. The team who covers the most laps and gains the most points is the winner at the end of the event…. This weekends racing will not want to be missed.

There is also racing for Non-Madison riders. In addition, the Future Stars (Youth Racers) will also be strutting their stuff during the evening.

Racing starts at 7pm on Saturday December 6th, general adult admission is $10.00, Seniors $5.00, and Kids are always FREE.
