August 12, 2004 – It has now been confirmed that Canadian TT stalwart,
Eric Wohlberg, will be riding the Olympic Time Trial in Athens. Canada was ranked 27th going into the Games, with only 25 spots available. After two teams did not fill squads in the TT, the opening for Canada’s Wohlberg to ride was presented. Team Canada expected and hoped this would happen and Wohlberg has his TT bike in Athens and is ready to take on the world’s best.
