June 19, 2012 (Beauce, QC) – The team recently completed the prestigious tour of Beauce and despite the bad luck that we suffered early in the race, the final result was positive! The team, which is in its first season as a Continental Team, had a group who’s average age was relatively young (21 years). The objective was to allow riders to continue to gain experience with an international class peloton. Young riders, who have already participated in this race, have all improved their performance since last year. Therefore it’s an encouraging sign of progress.

The next big meeting will be the Tour of Elk Grove at the beginning of August where Equipe Ekoi-Gaspesien riders will once again, have the opportunity to rub shoulder with an international field.
