August 23, 2015 (Val di Sole, Italy) – Canada’s Emily Batty (Trek Factory Racing) battled to a 5th place podium spot in the Elite Women’s 28.1km XCO race as Annika Langvad (Den) Specialized claimed her very first World Cup victory at the UCI MTB World Cup XCO#6 finale in Val di Sole, Italy.

Catharine Pendrel (Can) Luna Pro Team finished 11th while Sandra Walter (Can) Team Canada was 33rd at the final WCup race of the season.

Jolanda Neff (Sui) Stoeckli Pro Team in second today defended her overall series title with Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjaa (Nor) Multivan Merida Biking Team 2nd and Leah Davison (USA) Specialized 3rd. Pendrel finished 4th overall with Batty 7th.
