September 9, 2005 – The Canadian Cycling Association is proud to announce the final composition of the elite men’s team for the 2005 road world championships in Madrid, Spain.
Ryder Hesjedal is the third rider selected to the team for the elite men’s road race on Sept. 25. He will join Michael Barry and FranÃ§ois Parisien, whose nominations have already been announced.
Ryder will also compete alongside Eric Wohlberg in the elite men’s time trial on Sept. 21. Svein Tuft has withdrawn from the team due to illness.
