May 25, 2015 (Montreal,QC) – Desjardins is inviting cycling enthusiasts across Canada to take part in its new Share Your Love of Cycling with Desjardins contest. Cyclists of all levels, whether they are urban cyclists, amateurs who take family biking trips or high-level competitors, are invited to join David Veilleux, the first Quebecer to complete the Tour de France, and share their passion by posting a picture that captures their love of cycling.
To enter, participants simply post a picture in the contest application section of the Desjardins Group Facebook page here or on Instagram with the hashtag #desjardinscycling. Every week, between May 22 and October 2, a winner will be randomly selected to win a Devinci bike, valued at $1,300. Entries are cumulative, which means that the more photos participants submit, the higher their chances of winning.
Desjardins is a partner of more than 60 cycling events that take place throughout Quebec and Ontario. From the Tour de l’Île to the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie, and from the Eastern Townships Challenge to the Grand Tour Desjardins and the Défis du parc de la Mauricie, Desjardins will be present at all the main summer cycling events. Desjardins Group’s involvement in cycling events is part of its commitment to promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles.
The contest will include a promotional campaign featuring David Veilleux, a well-known cyclist in Quebec who won the Canadian Champion title from 2007 to 2011 and was the first Quebec-born athlete to complete the Tour de France. Follow in the footsteps of David Veilleux and share your love of cycling with us!
