February 16, 2011 – The Dark Horse Flyers elite men’s road racing team (S1/S2), now in its third year of competition, is looking for racers under 25 with a keen interest to race at the highest level possible and who will contribute to the long-term success of the elite team. Racers with a focus on excellence in sport and who embody the team moto “Ride Beautifully” are what we are looking for. Developing the next generation of racers is a key component of our elite program.

In 2011, the team will race locally as well as across Canada and the US. Our support package is aimed at reducing financial barriers to high level performance and rewarding individual and team peformance.

Racers are encouraged to introduce themselves to the team owner with a brief email via Facebook to “Paul Velo”.

Racers who decide to join our program will be required to sign a contract and to be subject to the rules and regulations governing competitive cycling in Ontario.
