January 11, 2006 – I’d like to thank Pedal Magazine, its readers and viewers, and the cycling community in general, for naming me Pedal’s 2005 DH Female Cyclist of the year. Wow! This award, which I’ve now received for the last three years, is an honour to receive because it comes from fellow racers and mountain bikers.

I’d also like to send a BIG thank you to my sponsor from 2004 and 2005, Giant Canada, without whom I could not have competed for this award and would not be where I am today with racing. Next year looks exciting too! I’ll keep you all posted.
