September 24, 2005 – Two cyclocross races will be presented in Quebec City during the weekend of the 8 and 9 next October. We invite you to take part in it!
The World Cup renowned Mont Sainte-Anne ski resort will be the host of the first race on October 8. One can expect a technical and fast course established in the heart of the alpine village. A crowd record is envisaged since the event will be held during La Grande VirÃ©e des Couleurs, the traditional autumnal festival of the mountain.
Located 10 minutes away of Quebec city, the park of the Montmorency fall will accomodate for the first time a cyclo-cross event on next 9 October. This site recognized internationally for its beauty will feature a demanding and varied course with an amazing sight on the Saint-Lawrence river. Also on the program, a 5 to 7 party at Le Cosmos on the Grande-AllÃ©e in downtown Quebec.
The Quebec cyclocross phenomenon is going huge for the last few years. We have weekly group trainings and our 7 races circuit is now sanctioned by the FÃ©dÃ©ration QuÃ©bÃ©coise des Sports Cyclistes (FQSC).
