Riders are asked to park at the Kennedy/Mount Albert Time Trial location and ride to the Start/Finish area (approx. 6km) for numbering and check in.

Format
The new course is an 8 km route. It is fast and rolling, with a challenging uphill finish. As per the standard race format, there will be 3 race categories:
a) Category A, Men/Women (licensed and/or expert-level riders)
b) Category B, Men/Women (unlicensed and/or performance-level riders)
c) Category C, Men/Women (recreational riders)

Registration
Pre-registration registration fee $10.00 can be paid at the until Saturday, August 26.
Race day registration of $20.00 can be paid on site, from 7:00 — 7:45.
Cyclissimo Club Card must be presented at time of registration.
*CASH ONLY PLEASE for in-store and race day registrations*

Rules
Riders are advised that the race course is open to traffic during the event and appropriate cautions should be taken while racing.

As such the Yellow Line Rule will be in effect and strictly enforced by Course Marshals during the race. Any crossing of the yellow line will result in rider disqualification.

The Yellow Line Rule will also be in effect at the Finish Line and racers will be DQ’d if they cross the line during a bunch sprint.

Upon arrival at the race site, riders are to check in with the race Commisaires to receive their race numbers. Race numbers are to be affixed to the top tube of the bicycle via the twist ties provided. Please hand-in your numbers at the end of the race.

For the safety of all participants, racers must follow the flag directions of Course Marshalls at each corner. Flags are as follows:
GREEN FLAG > safe to proceed, continue at race pace
RED FLAG > traffic at corner, racers *must* come to a complete stop until traffic clears

Passing/Lapped Riders
Lapped riders will be allowed to finish, however, we ask that racers practice standard race protocol:
LAPPING RIDERS > lapping riders must warn lapped riders of their presence and pass on left
LAPPED RIDERS > riders being lapped must yield to the right, allowing riders to pass without danger of crossing the yellow line.
